Intro to SBDM


A six-hour course for new SBDM council members.

Facilitated by Dr. Tom Hiter, a certified SBDM trainer, this course fulfills the KDE requirement for six hours of training for newly-elected SBDM council members.  At the end of this course, learners earn a certificate of completion for six hours of SBDM EILA Credit.

This course has rolling registration; however, we recommend a minimum of one week for course completion. If you do not complete the course by the term's end date, you will have to re-enroll during the following term.

Summer/Fall:    July 1 - October 15
Winter:             November 1 - February 15 
Spring:             March 1 - June 15 (This course will open on March 1, 2018.)

KET accepts school or district purchase orders and credit cards. Make purchase orders payable to KET, 600 Cooper Drive, Lexington KY 40502. Enter the PO number at the time of order.  Once the order is submitted the invoice is immediately available and emailed to the email address provided. Please forward the emailed invoice to accounts payable for payment within 30 days.

PURCHASE ORDER PAYMENT NOTE: We request that only school personnel submit orders paying by purchase orders. Once KET approves your order, you will receive a “RECEIPT” email allowing you to enroll the new member in the course. This process can take up to two business days.  Please do not enter the new member’s name at the time the order is placed.
